New EEOC Posters Effective June 27, 2023

New EEOC Posters

.5 minute read

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued a new “Know Your Rights” poster which contains information about the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). This law requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for employees who have limitations due to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medication conditions.

Employers with 15 or more employees must replace their current EEOC poster with the new one. New posters must be displayed on and after June 27, 2023. It should be posted in a conspicuous location in the workplace. Both English and Spanish versions are available either for a physical posting at the workplace or an electronic posting on an employer website. Download the bulletin for more details.
