ARPA COBRA Subsidy Model Notices and FAQs Issued

COBRA

1 minute read

The Department of Labor (DOL) has a new webpage which is dedicated to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) COBRA subsidy. Here you can find FAQs and model notices. Employers may use the DOL model notices to meet their notice obligations under the ARPA’s COBRA subsidy provisions. The FAQs include topics such as eligibility, notice requirements, durations of subsidy, and application procedure.

The ARPA provides a 100% subsidy for employer-sponsored group health insurance continued under COBRA and similar state continuation of coverage programs for eligible individuals. It applies from April 1 through September 30, 2021.

Download the bulletin for more details.
