The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has revised its national emphasis program (NEP) for COVID-19. It adjusted the targeted industries for those who are most at risk for COVID-19 exposure but still includes health care and non-health care.

The revised NEP includes the updated interim enforcement response plan for non-health care establishments.

Employers should familiarize themselves with OSHA’s updated NEP, implementing all procedures, policies, etc. necessary for compliance. Employers can visit OSHA’s COVID-19 website for guidance on workplace safety requirements.
