President Biden recently signed some executive actions to strengthen our access to affordable health care.
One executive order wants to increase access and expand enrollment to the Health Insurance Marketplace. It’s expected that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will establish a Special Enrollment Period due to the pandemic. The enrollment period is expected to run February 15 – May 15.
The executive order also directs federal agencies to reconsider policies and rules that could restrict American access to health care. It asks agencies to reexamine:
