EEO-1 Reporting Deadline Extended

EEO-1 Reporting Deadline Extended

1 minute read

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has extended the deadline for employers to submit equal employment opportunity (EEO-1) workforce data from 2019 and 2020. Due to the pandemic, the deadline has been pushed from July 19, 2021, to August 23, 2021, to complete their submissions. The deadline for submitting EEO-1 data from 2021 will still be March 31, 2022.

The EEO-1 Report is an annual survey that requires certain employers to submit certain workforce data to help the EEOC enforce federal anti-discrimination laws.

Employers subject to EEO-1 requirements should complete their submissions by August 23, 2021. Employers should also review the EEOC’s home page and website dedicated to EEO data collections for additional information.
